US equities opened significantly lower, with the SPX breaking a new cycle low of 2766, but then reversing powerfully upward.
The afternoon saw considerable chop, but leaned back upward to break a new intraday high to settled at 2852. The VIX printed 39.28 in early morning, but cooled back, settling -7.6% at 32.61.
