Summary

Equities opened broadly weak on Trump's latest request for consideration of tariffs on another $200bn of Chinese goods. Yet, the market held together relatively well, only seeing a low of 2770.

Volatility was naturally higher, but only settled moderately higher in the mid 13s. Outlook for Thursday offers at least sp'2768, which should equate to VIX in the mid 14s.
