Just another day

US equity indexes closed moderately mixed, sp -2pts at 2396 (intra high 2403). The two leaders - Trans/R2K, settled +0.4% and u/c respectively. VIX settled +1.9% at 9.96. Near term outlook offers a little weak chop, but a weekly close in the 2410s remains very much within range.

Summary

It was just another day in US equity land, with two new historic highs for the Nasdaq comp' and sp'500. There was a new multi-decade low for the VIX of 9.56. Most should recognise the 8s, or even the 7s are viable this summer.
