VIX in cooling mode
With US equities seeing renewed upside, the VIX was back in cooling mode, settling -4.2% @ 13.30 (intra low 12.83). Near term outlook is for continued equity upside, which will likely equate to VIX remaining very subdued in the 14/10 zone. The big 20 threshold looks out of range for some weeks.
